Managed IT
Managed IT means we manage your technology and your expectations. Mostly your expectations.
It's complexWe install things. We configure things. And when something breaks, we will confidently explain that the issue is "complex" and therefore billable.
What's included
- 24/7 monitoring
- We watch it break. Around the clock. From a dashboard. With popcorn.
- Patch management
- Updates install Tuesday at 10:00 AM, during your biggest client call. On purpose? We'll never tell.
- Help desk
- See: Support. See also: never.
- Asset tracking
- We know exactly how many laptops you have. We don't know where they are. Neither do you.
- Quarterly business reviews
- A 40-slide deck of your mistakes, presented with the lights off.
- Onboarding new users
- Five business days. Please submit the request two weeks before you decide to hire them.
What's not included
Whatever you need at the moment you need it. Printers. Anything with "home" in the sentence. Your personal iPad, your kid's Xbox, and "a quick question" (there is no such thing).
The annoyingly correct part
A real managed IT agreement should spell out response times, what's in scope, and what costs extra, in writing, before you sign. If yours says "reasonable efforts" and nothing else, you already know how that goes.
